Royal College of Nursing’s old physical publications can be difficult to find outside of our London library. With members across the UK, and users from across the world, having digitised access is really important to us. Understanding historic developments in clinical nursing practice can have a significant impact for nursing today. Some internal funding meant we could digitise a tranche of past publications, making professional nursing more visible.
