We have equipment that is capable of digitising fiche, film, slides and glass plate negatives ranging in size from small 35mm slides up to approximately A3 (42cm x 29cm) film and glass negatives. We can also digitise roll film in both 35mm and 16mm formats.

We can digitise Film, Fiche, Slide or Glass Negatives of any size and even those that are in poor condition. If they are packaged in some way then we are happy to remove them from cases/envelopes during the digitisation process. We will also convert the negatives to positives and perform contrast adjustments in order to obtain the best possible image.
WRITING DIGITAL IMAGES TO FILM (MICROFILMING)
We have the capability to transfer your digital images to microfiche or microfilm. This can be done to your exact specification where you can specify items such as film type, reel lengths, position, reduction ratios, density, fog level and inter-frame gap.
CONCERNED ABOUT TRANSPORTING YOUR ITEMS?
We are happy to come to your premises with our own staff and vehicles to personally collect and return your items.
FILE FORMATS & ACCESSING THE IMAGES
We will generally produce image files at 300dpi in tiff and jpeg formats, although we can produce other file formats such as pdf, bmp etc. Images can be produced in full colour or greyscale and we can enhance or graphically restore them too.
We can supply our software to view and add meta-data to the images. This software is web based which means you can access it from anywhere that has an internet connection. Find out more about our ARCVIEW SYSTEM.
If you are interested in displaying your images online for the public to view then we can build websites or web pages (that sit within your existing website) that incorporate search engines and payment gateways so that the public can find and then pay for your images to be downloaded.
