What is it?

An advanced touch-screen computer that will store ALL of the scanned pages from ALL of your Cemetery and Crematorium Registers.

It will also store your Cemetery Maps and Database

Optional configuration:

• Book Viewing Software - flick through the pages of your cemetery registers on- screen
• Map Software - View, print and edit your cemetery maps
• Chronicle - View your records online

How many records can the SmartStation store?

REGISTERS: The Cemetery SmartStation can store and display every single page from every single one of your Cemetery Registers.

MAPS: The Cemetery SmartStation can store, display and update all of your Cemetery Maps.

The large hard disk drive can store around 700 Grave Registers and around 6000 Cemetery Maps!*

How does the SmartStation display Registers?

Pre-installed with our Book Viewing Software you can use the Cemetery SmartStation's touch-screen technology to open a register and flick through it's pages ... it's just like having the actual register in front of you!

What's more the software allows you to print, fax and email a page. It allows you to copy and paste part of a page directly into a Word Document or directly into an Email.

The software also provides the ability for records within the pages to be searched. Select a cemetery, input a surname, enter a date of death and all of the pages that contain records that match your search criteria will be displayed.

How does the SmartStation display Maps?

The pre-installed software allows you to quickly view your maps. Touch the screen and you can zoom in and out of your maps and show plots in incredible detail. You can print a map or even just part of a map in seconds.

Select a cemetery, input a plot number and the system will find and display the section of a map that matches your chosen plot.

Updating your Maps

Ask for our specially selected Graphical Software to be pre-installed and we can provide training that will show you how to open a map, draw and add new plots, move and rotate existing plots, add pathways, trees, benches – in fact add anything! The software allows you to 'knit' maps together and create completely new maps too. Want to email a map or display a map on the web? The Graphical Software can automatically reduce the dimensions and file size of the map and optimise it for quick downloads via the Internet.

Is the Cemetery SmartStation suitable for Public Use?

Yes! With it's smart touch-screen technology anybody can use it.

Our intuitive book and map viewing software will allow your visitors to find records with absolute ease.

Many authorities and organisations are now choosing to put their records on the web.

We can place your records online and create search engine software and a website specifically for your department. Alternatively we can integrate the software and records directly into your main website.

But not everyone has access to the web and not everyone knows how to use a keyboard. So plug the Cemetery SmartStation into an Internet connection, place it within a public area and let your visitors surf your website or access the book viewing software using finger technology!

How secure is the Cemetery SmartStation?

Concerned that somebody might pinch the SmartStation and with it all of your Cemetery records?

Integrated into the back of the SmartStation is a 'lock hole'. This allows us to provide you with a high security chain to lock the SmartStation to a desk.

If that's not enough, integrated into the side of the SmartStation is a Pocket Media Drive.

This allows you to store all of your records on a drive that you can simply eject each evening and place within your safe.

Add a Printer

Notice the space at the front of the SmartStation? Setup an A4 or A3 printer includes signage so that you can behind the SmartStation and when the user presses 'print' then a printed sheet will magically appear in front of them!

Personalise with Signage

Our Cemetery SmartStation package includes signage so that you can personalise it to your own requirements. You can add logo's and colour schemes so that the Cemetery SmartStation conforms to your own corporate identity.

Web Access - Chronicle System

Want to show and maintain your cemetery records on the Internet? Our secure CHRONICLE system allows your staff to access, delete and edit records within an online database. It also allows your staff to restrict access to records that you don't want the public to view - such as ownership details.
Online access to your records means that your staff can access and maintain our records from anywhere that has an internet connection simply by entering a username and password.

What else can the SmartStation do?

• Plug a television aerial into it and it turns into a TV. You can even use it to record TV

• The DVD drive will play ANY type of CD or DVD - from data to music to movies

We've already had our registers/maps scanned - can we still use a SmartStation?

Yes! There shouldn't be a problem integrating any images and any records from any supplier into the Cemetery SmartStation.
