Marketing Executive

Full Time (although Part-time considered)

Due to recent growth Townsweb Archiving is looking for a Marketing Executive to take charge of their defined marketing initiatives. You will be required to promote the organisation, its services and brand with a view to bringing in new and repeat business. You`ll achieve this by managing the production of a wide range of communication and marketing publications / materials designed to promote the company`s services including producing case studies, newsletters, blog updates, articles for industry publications and advertising material.

We are looking for a Marketing Executive with a minimum of 2 years experience in all or some of the following:

Strategically planning and obtaining best price for the marketing across various sectors. This will involve taking a detailed look at each of the sectors that the company currently operates within and putting together and implementing a strategy for each.
Finding, organising and possibly attending exhibitions, conferences and corporate events.
Identifying speaking opportunities and possibly speaking at these events too.
Supporting colleagues with pitches and presentations.
Seeking and managing PR opportunities.
Writing & designing editorials and advertisements.
Writing & designing news stories for each project undertaken (including retrospective works) and updating the company’s website news pages (blog) and sending the same content out via regular email newsletters.
Taking project/event photographs and movies to use within subsequent marketing literature.
Managing social media presence by ensuring our facebook page is kept up to date, performing tweets and other similar duties.
Organising, writing & designing mail-outs.
Analysing the results of a marketing initiative and providing summary reports and recommendations to management and sales staff.
Developing, incorporating and logging marketing initiatives within the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Growing our email and customer database.
Writing & designing case studies.
Writing & designing brochures and other marketing materials.
Obtaining feedback and testimonials from customers.
Keep our ‘client reference list’ up to date.
Regularly review our web presence and rankings based on various keywords and suggest improvements
Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Design packages such as Adobe Photoshop or similar

First and foremost, you`ll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to build credibility and relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels. You`ll be highly energetic, engaging with a wide range of audiences, communicating events and concepts with intelligence and insight.

A strong track record of successful management of major marketing initiatives is essential. Ideally you`ll also be experienced in digital marketing, but training will be provided in this area if you`re the right person.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines whilst under pressure and with minimum supervision is also essential.

You should have a full UK driving license.

This is an exciting position where the Marketing Executive will have the opportunity to develop themselves and work in partnership with a Managing Director and Business Development Manager who has ambitious plans to continue to grow the company into something very special!

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing new software and websites. A keen eye for good website design would also be useful.

Internal Sales/Marketing & Production Assistant

Due to recent company growth, TownsWeb Archiving Ltd is looking to recruit an Internal Sales/Marketing & Production Assistant to join our small but busy team.

This position will involve both sales/marketing and also production/scanning duties. During busy production periods the role might solely involve scanning/digitisation work. During less busy production periods the roll will involve more internal sales & marketing work.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):

Keeping regular contact with prospective customers via:

Phone Sales
Email Sales
Letter Sales

Design, creation & sending of email newsletters (Graphics Package, Microsoft Outlook & Hosted Email Application)
Design, creation, mail-merge, printing & dispatch of postal promotion campaigns (Microsoft Word & Excel)
Research (mainly via the Internet) and inputting data on to spreadsheets
Scheduling meetings for Sales Consultants
Organising events & exhibitions
Updating Internal/Client Systems and Databases
Checking & correcting transcribed data
Scanning/Digitisation (including on site at clients premises)

There may also be occasions when you will be required to:

Collect and deliver items to clients premises (some manual lifting may be required)
Work on site at a clients premises (possibly staying away from home)

Candidate Profile

Must have:

recent & demonstratable sales & marketing skills within an office based environment
confident and mature telephone manner
strong I.T. skills – Microsoft Office, Graphics Packages (Adobe Photoshop etc.)
a driving license (preferably clean) and own car (note: company pool car will be available)

It would also be preferable (but not essential) if the candidate had:

An understanding and practical experience of DSLR photography (exposure, shutter speed etc.)
Knowledge of scanning and image output file formats

Sales Consultant (Software & Scanning/Document Management)

TownsWeb Archiving Ltd is looking to recruit a Sales Consultant ideally with specialist skills in the sale of Software and/or Document Management products.

You will be responsible for Account Management of some Key Clients in a specialist sector where we are seen as the UK leading provider. You will develop new growth sectors and generate new leads and sales. Previous sales experience is essential.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Sales consultant with a minimum o f 2 years experience and proven sales track record, essential key skills:

Business to business
Key account management
Sales generation from existing clients
Able to provide a confident sales pitch and presentation
Identifying new potential clients and markets
Exhibitions experience
Developing specific sector marketing Strategies
Managing your own Customer Management System

It is important that you are:
